Dr. Mamie T. Thorns and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Award

This award is to recognize students who exemplify Dr. Thorns’ and Dr. King’s dedication to leadership, service to others, and commitment to community, equity and inclusion. To be eligible, students must have a minimum 2.75 grade point average, be enrolled full-time, and maintain good academic standing. The recipient must be available to participate in the MLK Celebration event in Saginaw in January and complete one service reflection or approved community engagement activity during the award year.
