Botz Liberal Arts Fellowship

The Botz Liberal Arts Fellowship is a multi-semester career readiness program that includes a $1,000 scholarship the first academic year and a $1,500 award when an approved internship is secured. Please note incoming fellows must take LS101, Foundations of Leadership and Community Service, in their first fall semester as a Botz Fellow. This three-credit course is a great way to fully utilize block tuition and will not result in any extra charges should it exceed the number of block tuition credits and will include a service project. The course may be applied toward a minor in Leadership and Service. (In the event a Fellow’s schedule does not permit taking the LS101 course, an alternate course approved by the Fellowship committee will be completed.) The Botz Fellowship selection process includes an interview.

To be eligible, students must demonstrate an interest and potential for success/leadership in business or industry, and be willing to complete the requirements of the program, including mandatory career exploration/training activities and mentoring sessions. Candidates must be pursuing a major within the College of Arts & Behavioral Sciences, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75, have completed at least 28 college credit hours, and not anticipate graduating prior to December 2026.
