Baker Kanagawa US-Japan Endowed Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have a minimum TOEFL score of 79 and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, a minimum grade point average equivalent to a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and enroll full-time. First priority will be given to students who are dependents of employees of ShinEtsu Chemical Industries. Preference will be given to students who meet one of the following criteria: those pursuing internship opportunities while attending SVSU, those majoring in the College of Business or the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology, students who plan to engage or demonstrate a willingness to engage in cultural exchange in the regional community. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided the recipient continues to meet the requirements.
