Waheed and Raana Akbar Endowed Scholarship in Health Sciences
Candidates must be enrolled full-time, demonstrate financial need (FAFSA), be pursuing a major in Nursing, Health Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or Occupational Therapy; and possess the ability or potential to make a positive contribution to the healthcare field. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate an intention to serve the Great Lakes Bay Region as a health professional, and students who participate or have participated in activities and/or organizations that promote gender diversity/equality in the workplace.
