Wickson-Link Memorial Foundation

James E. Wickson was a community leader who served as Frankenmuth’s first mayor. When he moved to Frankenmuth in 1928, he joined Universal Engineering Company where he served for many years as the President and CEO. Among his many community service activities, he served as a Director of Frankenmuth State Bank and also was Chair of their trust department, was active with the United Way, and played important roles in establishing the Frankenmuth Swimming Pool and Heritage Park. With his wife, Meta Link, he established the Wickson-Link Memorial Foundation that continues to support many charitable causes in Saginaw County.
