Virginia Spatz

Virginia (Oehring) Spatz was born February 14, 1922, in Saginaw. She married Norman Spatz on August 4, 1952; he predeceased her June 22, 2003. She retired from General Motors, the old Saginaw Chevrolet Manufacturing Plant, after 41 years. Mrs. Spatz is remembered by her friends as someone who loved animals, working and was very detail oriented. Mrs. Spatz made provisions in her estate for the establishment of an endowment fund to support scholarships and artists-in-residence in music and theater at SVSU. She passed away at the age of 96 in 2018.
