SVSU Colleagues of John Fallon
Dr. John A. Fallon was Vice President for Public Affairs at Saginaw Valley State University. Dr. Fallon was known for his outstanding leadership skills, and for sharing them with many community organizations. He believes strongly in community involvement as well as the development of individual potential. Dr. Fallon served as a liaison between the University and the Lansing Legislature.
He accepted a position as the President of William Penn College in Iowa in 1995. In 1998, Dr. Fallon became President of the State University of New York (SUNY)-Potsdam in upstate New York. From 2005-2007, Dr. Fallon was President of Eastern Michigan University. The scholarship fund was established in 1997 by Dr. Fallon’s friends and colleagues at SVSU to honor his dedication to service and leadership.
