SVSU Athletic Alumni & Friends

Cardinal Athletics has played an important role in the history of SVSU. Former varsity athletes had an opportunity to “pave the way” for current and future Cardinal student athletes to continue on a great tradition through the Varsity Walk Brick Program. This Brick Program was established in 2005 to honor any SVSU athlete that competed in at least one year of varsity competition. The scholarship is established by the revenues created from the Varsity Walk Brick Program. These bricks are “planted” at the doorstep, or main entrance, to the Cardinal Outdoor Athletic Complex, just east of the Ryder Center, east of Davis Road.
