Bay Cast, Inc. was acquired in 1987 by Scott L. Holman, who also founded Bay Cast Technologies. Uncommon among many foundries today, Bay Cast, Inc. has remained profitable from its inception, is without long-term debt burden, and maintains a high current ratio. Bay Cast Technologies are designers and manufacturers of Test Support and Alignment Equipment. The companies recognize the dedication of Bay Cast employees, and believe in the importance of assisting their families. The scholarship was established in 1998 to provide support to Bay Cast employees and their children in pursuing degrees at SVSU.
