Samuel C. and Martha F. Allen

The Allen Scholarship was established in 1966 by Samuel and Marth Allen. It was among the very first endowments at SVSU, established just three years after the college was founded in 1963. Mr. and Mrs. Allen resided in Saginaw and wanted to assist students in the Saginaw, Bay, or Midland areas. The Allens valued scholastic achievement and good character, and hoped this scholarship would provide students with needed financial support to achieve their educational goals.
