Rob and Sage Roy

David A. Roy was born December 14, 1963 and raised in Mid-Michigan. He was a graduate of St. Charles High School. David was an employee of The Dow Chemical Company for 25 years, and during that time was a member of the United Steelworkers of America Local 12075 Bargaining Committee. David was a huge booster of all sports, both organized and recreational. He passed away suddenly as the result of an accident on April 14, 2011. David’s brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sage Roy, established this scholarship fund at Saginaw Valley State University in his memory.
