Mr. Henry E. Schwartz and Mrs. Patsy Hill Schwartz and Family

Henry E. Schwartz owned and operated Wolverine Knitting Mills, Inc. in Bay City, with his brother. During his career, Mr. Schwartz demonstrated a commitment to the spirit of free enterprise, and to the welfare of his employees. He established the Patsy Hill Schwartz Music Scholarship in honor of his wife in 1984. Shortly after his retirement and passing in 1988, Mrs. Schwartz established the Henry E. Schwartz Memorial Business Scholarship.

The Patsy Hill Schwartz Music Scholarship was established in 1984 and is is intended to help part– or full-time Music students who have demonstrated academic achievement and leadership.

The Henry E. Schwartz Memorial Business Scholarship is intended to assist students seeking degrees in Business at SVSU who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership potential, and need financial assistance with their college expenses.
