Michael and Bridget Windy

Michael Joseph Windy, CPA, CISA, grew up in Reese, Michigan and graduated from Reese High School with a 2.95 grade point average. He grew up as the youngest of eleven children raised by Raymond and Myra Windy, who grew up in the Cass City and Sebewaing areas, respectively. Myra raised the children while Ray worked at the former Saginaw Steering Gear (a.k.a., Delphi and Nexteer). Mike received a State of Michigan scholarship and attended Delta College. No other funding was available until he transferred to SVSU, where he received partial funding from the SVSU general scholarship fund. Mike graduated from Delta College with a 3.45 grade point average and SVSU with a 3.53 cumulative grade point average (3.93 in Accounting). Mike went to work for a local CPA firm upon graduation. Ten years later, he left to become a Senior Finance/Internal Audit Manager at The Dow Chemical Company in Midland. Mike enjoys the outdoors, specifically hunting, fishing, boating and traveling.

Bridget Ann (Evans) Windy grew up in Frankenmuth, Michigan, and graduated from Frankenmuth High School with a 3.52 grade point average. She grew up as the youngest of three children raised by Jim and Delores Evans, who grew up in Beecher and Mt. Morris areas respectively. Delores raised the children and worked part-time at Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland while Jim worked for General Motors Flint Assembly Plant. Bridget went to SVSU after high school and graduated with honors, obtaining a Business Management undergraduate degree with a 3.55 grade point average. She worked in a variety of accounting-related positions since graduation. Bridget enjoys walking, boating, traveling, and pets.
