Maynard D. and Goldie Bartha Allyn

Mr. & Mrs. Allyn were both professionals in the field of Social Work, with an abiding interest in child welfare. Their goal was to help students at SVSU who were pursuing degrees in Social Work who plan to be employed in child welfare positions. Mr. Allyn passed away in 1999, and Mrs. Allyn passed away in 2001.They established The Maynard D. and Goldie Bartha Allyn Endowed Scholarship fund in 1995, and Mrs. Allyn left a generous gift in her estate that supports the scholarship program.
