Martin H. Stark
The scholarship was established by Mr. Martin H. Stark to honor his nephew, Dr. Benjamin C. Stark (pictured). Dr. Benjamin C. Stark is a biologist and scientist who teaches at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is also the Associate Chair of Biology. Dr. Stark is very committed to enhancing the educational opportunities for students in the field of Biology. His home town is Saginaw, Michigan. Dr. Stark hopes to encourage the development of quality scientific professionals who will contribute to their field in the Saginaw area. His professional interests include: Molecular biology, biochemistry and physiology of Vitreoscilla hemoglobin. He recently finished his 20th marathon.
