Kozlowski Family/Jet's Pizza

Frank and Mary Kozlowski established the first Jet’s Pizza franchise in the Great Lakes Bay Region in Bay City, Michigan in 2001. When they took ownership, the business was failing. Under their management it quickly became one of the top producing franchise locations in the United States. At that time, Jet’s pizza was unknown to the region. For the next five years they continued to establish new stores, moving into Clio, Saginaw and Kochville Township. Recently they have established three additional stores in Memphis, Tennessee, totaling seven stores by 2014 with plans for up to ten in the market. Jet’s Pizza was created in 1978 and began franchising in the early 1990s. There are more than 300 locations nationwide.

Frank and Mary established this scholarship to give back to SVSU students in recognition of those who have both worked at their stores and frequented their establishments.
