Joseph and Karen Krantz Family charitable Foundation

Mr. and Mrs. Krantz, lifelong residents of Bay County, owned and operated the Triple Clean companies for more than fifty years until 2013. Throughout the years, the Krantz’s employed numerous Saginaw Valley State University students and encouraged their pursuit of higher education.

In 2008, the Krantz’s provided the lead gift to the Bay Area Community Foundation’s Bay Commitment Scholarship endowment. Additional funding provided for the 100 inaugural scholarships to students who would be attending either Saginaw Valley State University or Delta College in the fall of 2008.

While Mr. and Mrs. Krantz had been practicing quiet philanthropy within the community, upon the death of her husband, Joseph, Karen Krantz and her family established the Joseph and Karen Krantz Family Charitable Foundation in order to provide for planned, ongoing philanthropy. The Foundation is pleased to fund the Joseph and Karen Krantz Family Charitable Foundation Endowed Scholarship.
