Jerry A. and Marcena C. Woodcock

Jerry A. Woodcock was Vice President for Administration and Business Affairs at SVSU for nearly 23 years. Mr. Woodcock and his wife, Marcena (Tina) were loyal annual supporters of the University since 1978. Their two children, Brian and Saralyn, both received academic non-financial need based scholarships during their undergraduate years. Mr. and Mrs. Woodcock were impressed with how these awards provided both financial and emotional support, and were inspired to provide that kind of support to other hard-working, dedicated students.

The Woodcocks actively supported the scholarship fund for many years, and made provisions for it in their estate, to make opportunities available to even more SVSU students. Mr. Woodcock passed away in 2016.
