Gladys Kearn

Gladys Kearn was one of the first staff members at Saginaw Valley State University. Ms. Kearn was responsible for hiring and training many early secretarial staff members. She married SVSU President Dr. Samuel Marble. Mrs. Marble established a scholarship to assist graduate students in business, and helped support a scholarship for Delta students transferring to SVSU, in Dr. Marble’s memory.

The Gladys Kearn Scholarship assists students in need of help with their college expenses.
