Fred C. and Joyce Cook

Mr. and Mrs. Cook, residents of Bay County, are very committed to youth initiatives and enriching educational opportunities for our community. Mr. Cook is affiliated with the Jim White Lumber Company, a brokerage firm that buys and sells materials to lumber yards. He served on the Bay City Board of Education during difficult times when high schools were being consolidated. Because of his dedication to improved youth services, Mr. Cook has lobbied in Washington on behalf of the Boys and Girls Clubs. Other community organizations he has served include the Board of Directors of the United Way and the Bay Area Family Y Board. Mr. and Mrs. Cook established the scholarship fund in 2004 to help students with financial need realize their educational goals.
