Family of Bruce Allen Hart

Bruce’s children, Allen Hart, Ashley Hart, Michael Hart, and Bruce’s family and friends, established this scholarship in his honor.

Bruce Allen Hart has been an enthusiastic proponent of Saginaw Valley State University since he first attended and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry. Inspired by his experience with the university, Bruce’s wife and three children all attended SVSU and-became Cardinal Alumni.

Following a successful career with Ultra Carbon Corporation and SAVANT LABS, Bruce returned to his alma mater in 1993 and served as the sole manager of the university’s Independent Testing Lab for nearly 25 years. This role allowed him to utilize his corporate and academic background while supporting mid-Michigan businesses with analytical testing, problem solving, and product development. In addition to serving the industrial community, he actively mentored student employees and helped many further their education or find full-time employment after graduation. Bruce currently resides in Midland, MI with his wife, Hollee, and continues serving SVSU in the Chemistry Department.
