Family and Friends of Dr. Heidi L. Febert

Dr. Febert was a full-time instructor in the SVSU History Department specializing in medieval studies. Heidi was hired in July of 2013 then tragically and unexpectedly passed away of natural causes in December of 2013. Although Dr. Febert’s time and service at SVSU was brief, she quickly became an active, energetic, and respected member of the campus community. She was unselfishly dedicated to the education of her undergraduate students and the mission of Saginaw Valley State University. This endowment was created by Dr. Febert’s mother, Gertrude, and friends, to preserve her memory and continue with her personal passion for historical research and education.
