Dr. Robert and Sherrill Koch

For over 20 years, Dr. Robert Koch has been an adjunct faculty member at SVSU teaching a variety of communication courses with a specialty in business and professional communication. He is passionate about research and practices that enhance, refine, and improve outcomes in business and professional environments.
In addition, he is also passionate about health care ethics that include the well-being and dignity of the patient; matters of choice and decision making; rights and responsibilities of the patient, family, and care team; the responsibilities of health care organizations; access to care, fairness and justice in health policy and delivery.
Robert and Sherrill’s purpose in establishing these scholarships is to support students pursuing careers in communication and health care, while helping them make a positive impact in their professional communities.
