Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Award was established by faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Saginaw Valley State University. Each year, faculty members in the department contribute to build up the fund to make awards to students. SVSU’s very first classes in engineering were offered in the Fall of 1974. Dr. Eldon Graham founded SVSU’s Engineering program and remained actively involved with SVSU and providing scholarship opportunities for students until his passing in 2014.
