Bay Area Marine Dealers Association

The Bay Area Marine Dealers Association Golf Scholarship was established in 1998 because the Bay Area Marine Dealers Association recognizes the importance of higher education and the contribution of athletics to the educational experience. For many years, the Boat Show was held at SVSU’s Ryder Center. The endowment supporting this scholarship was created with proceeds from that annual event.

The scholarship is awarded to students who have the potential to contribute to the SVSU Golf Team, and demonstrated academic achievement and commitment to the game of golf during their high school years.
